By knowing what’s holding you back we can make powerful changes to your mindset.

Just by being here it tells me you’ve got a massive desire to move past these limiting beliefs. Because I know you don’t want to be stuck on the hamster wheel of:

It’s time to put a stop to going round-and-round in circles with these thoughts and beliefs.

Because that’s what they are. A whole lot of thoughts and beliefs you’ve absorbed as the ‘truth’ over time.

But the awesome news is, because they’re just thoughts and beliefs we can totally change them!

We can 100% change your belief system by giving you the right tools to start smashing through these thoughts.[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”40″][divider line_type=”Full Width Line” line_thickness=”2″ divider_color=”default” custom_height=”40″][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_custom_heading text=”But first…
Here’s what your quiz results tell me about you.” font_container=”tag:h1|text_align:center|color:%23ee497e” google_fonts=”font_family:Oswald%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”30″][vc_column_text]As a perfectionist you’re extremely passionate about giving everything your best.

In fact, you typically go above and beyond – you over-deliver and everything’s got to be just right. You feel like anything ‘less than’ is a detrimental reflection on you and you’ll tie yourself up in knots worrying about what others think of you.

Boy-oh-boy does this feel overwhelming sometimes.

You hate that it often takes way too long to do a simple task. Not because you don’t have the skills (you are one clever cookie, babe), but because you are so self-critical that you over-analyse every little thing you do. Am I right?

And it’s not unheard of for you to completely re-do or abandon a piece of work if you spot a minor error.

Is your head nodding yet?

Perfectionism likely shows up for you as a need for details and instruction. Because that helps you to feel like you’re doing things right, you’re following ‘best-practice’. For example, “how many times should I post to Instagram each day, week, year?”

Maybe you even collect checklists or step-by-step guides?  That’s because you feel safe when you have a logical, step-by-step process of tasks to be ticked off. You can ensure the job is done properly.

Because if it’s not going to be done properly what’s the point?

Your perfectionism has probably made you strive for the perfect website, logo, sales funnel, Instagram feed, business cards, course, launch… and it probably also permeates how you feel about putting yourself out there with videos, podcasts, speaking opportunities.

The list goes on…

The perfectionist in you is such a wonderful strength in terms of the core values it operates from – being of service, empathy, kindness, quality, integrity…

But it can also be the Achilles heel to your growth. It’s incessant and blinding. And because perfectionists have a passionate drive to do all the things and please all the people, you can burn out if you’re not careful.

Here’s the thing…

You’re a high-achiever babe. You’ve got a fire in your belly to be the best.

You’re destined for awesome things. But we’ve gotta bust through this wall of perfectionism so we can skyrocket your success.

“The most dangerous way we sabotage ourselves is by waiting for the perfect moment to begin. Nothing works perfectly the first time, or the first fifty times. Everything has a learning curve. The beginning is just that – a beginning. Surrender your desire to do it flawlessly on the first try. It’s not possible. Learn to learn. Learn to fail. Learn to learn from failing. And begin today.”

For Taking Imperfect Action” font_container=”tag:h1|text_align:center|color:%23ee497e” google_fonts=”font_family:Oswald%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]There’s no such thing as perfect, babe! So stop looking for it and stop striving for it. Don’t let it hold you back.

Here’s how to get going:

1. Set your mindset for the day.

Embracing imperfect action starts with your mindset. You have the power to intentionally choose your thoughts, so spend time each morning getting your mindset in the right space for the day.

A good way to do this is to journal. Ask yourself:

Next, set positive intentions
for how you want to feel during the day. Visualise yourself having an amazing day – what would that look like. Write those intentions down.

Practice gratitude. Write 5 things you feel grateful for right now. Big or small – it all counts. Your morning coffee, kids not arguing, the abundance of new business calls you’ve had this week.

Practicing gratitude helps to lift your mood and focus on the positives in your life. It’s scientifically proven to change your energetic state and even your brain!

Visualise what you want in your business and how that’ll make you feel. This is similar to visualising your day, but is specific to things you want to happen in your business. Write it down as if it’s already happened. Do this every day – it’ll give you focus, clarity, and you guessed it, a more positive outlook that will make you WANT to take imperfect action.

2. Just begin

Over-planning before you start can lead to analysis-paralysis. So simply start. Put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward.

Don’t keep looking back to analyse each and every move. Don’t beat yourself up for what could have been better. It’s progress over perfection you’re after. Place trust in yourself that what you’re doing, right now, is good enough. Because it is.

Trying to make something perfect and free from judgement paves the way for never getting it finished. And there are people out there who need what you offer.

Remind yourself that nothing is ever perfect. That perfection is an illusion. That it’s okay to fail, because failing is learning. And learning leads to greatness.

3. Let things be easy!

A major blindspot of being a perfectionist is making things harder than they actually are. Perfectionists often believe something couldn’t possibly be ‘good enough’ if it’s easy to do.

And because it’s easy, perfectionists often don’t count it as a win. We focus on all the things we’re not doing well instead.

So take a look at all your wins. Find the wins that were really easy for you. That you couldn’t quite believe someone was paying you to help them with. Because the truth is you helped that person to achieve something. You helped that person to get a win. So it IS a win for you too. Put them all in a folder or stick them on your wall so you can look at them when this crops up for you.

The fact is, we’ve all got different superpowers.
